Princess Maxima is celebrating her 40th birthday next week, immortalized in a special 

photo shoot by Erwin Olaf. The AD (a Dutch Newspaper) gave the world famous Dutch photographer the assignment for this series. The photos will be published in a special magazine about the Princess in May 2011.

The Dutch photographer portrayed the Princess in different ways in a style that makes 

his photographs unique. Erwin Olaf is delighted with the result: "The Princess has a 

special personality and she's an attractive woman." He continues discreet about the 

session that took place at the palace Noordeinde.
